A procedural pinball climber with chill vibes, a relaxed soundtrack, and just enough chaos to keep you reaching for the next launch.
View Bounce Alley on Google Play ↗Pinball, but the only way is up.
Bounce Alley combines pinball and arcade platforming in a constantly changing vertical playground. Launch a ball into the alley and keep it climbing while reacting to an unpredictable arrangement of gadgets and hazards. The stage changes as you rise and fall, transforming every run into a fresh test of timing.
The controls are deceptively simple: one button activates the blue mechanisms, the other the orange ones. Those two inputs influence the bumpers, magnets, and other devices that determine where the ball goes next. The challenge comes from spotting opportunities, staying in rhythm, and improvising when your plan goes sideways.
I deliberately contrasted that energetic gameplay with uncomplicated pixel art, a relaxed soundtrack, and a low-pressure atmosphere. It's a game about letting your attention drift into the flow of a run, even while you're trying to beat your score.

From prototype to published game
My work included the original concept, game design, programming, retro visual production, music and audio design and integration, composition, testing, and release. I also learned and managed Android publishing through Google Play: packaging the app, preparing its storefront materials, handling release requirements, and maintaining the live listing. Bounce Alley represents a completed commercial release as much as a design experiment.
